Fully human. Not superhuman.
Coaching for the goals that matter most to you.
What is Intentional Growth Coaching?
Intentional Growth Coaching is structured, 1:1 coaching for people navigating meaningful change built on performance science and behavioural psychology, and designed around you.
It's for the moments that matter most. When you're pursuing a goal that asks something more of you. When relentless pursuit has come at a cost and you need to pause, recover and recalibrate. When something no longer fits. Or when you're ready to let something go.
Available in person in West Bridgford, Nottingham and online across the UK.

Intentional Growth Coaching is structured, 1:1 coaching designed to create greater clarity, alignment and momentum towards what matters most to you.
-
It's personalised to where you are and where you want to get to — drawing on performance psychology, leadership science, and real-world experience to help you think more clearly and act more deliberately.
-
Most people come to this work because of a specific trigger. Something has shifted, or needs to. The coaching creates the space and structure to navigate it — with intention rather than by default.
What does Intentional Growth Coaching look like in practice?
A clear process, from start to end…
Structured. But built around you.
The focus, the format, the investment - all of it shaped around where you actually are and what you need most.
Here's what coaching with me looks like in practice, what we might work on together, and everything you need to know before you apply.
Growth that goes further.
mortl exists because intentional growth matters. Not only for us as individuals but for the world we live in. That's why 5% of every coaching investment goes to Just One Tree, a non-profit dedicated to reforestation and environmental restoration.
Meaning when you invest in your growth, something else grows too.
Performance Science. Applied to real life.
I'm fascinated by human performance.
The thinking, mindset and behaviours that help people perform at their best: to manage pressure, navigate setbacks, pursue goals with clarity.
I’ve operated at the top of my game. I’ve also burnt out. Both experiences have shaped a belief that I can’t shake: that the tools and thinking developed in elite performance belong to everyone.
At mortl, I bring those tools into everyday life. Into the goals that actually matter to you. The career decisions, the life changes, the moments where you know something needs to shift but aren't sure what.
Rigorous thinking. Real application. Get started here.

Intentional Growth Coaching is structured, 1:1 coaching built on performance science and behavioural psychology. It's designed to help you pursue meaningful goals, navigate change and move forward — consciously, on your terms. It's not generic life coaching. Every conversation is grounded in where you are, where you want to be and the cognitive and emotional tools to close that gap.

Therapy typically focuses on processing the past and supporting mental health. Mentoring shares experience and advice. Coaching is different — it's forward-facing, action-oriented and built around your goals. I'm not here to tell you what to do or to fix what's broken. I'm here to help you see yourself clearly, build the right strategies and move forward with intention. If you need therapeutic or clinical support, I'll always say so.

Intentional Growth Coaching costs £1,185 for 3 months. This includes a pre-kick-off questionnaire, six 75-minute sessions, a mid-point pulse check and a 30 minute closing session. Payment is spread across 3 monthly payments of £395. Find out more here.

If you're asking the question, you're probably closer than you think. Coaching works best when you have something specific you're navigating — a goal, a transition, a decision — and you're ready to invest real time and thought between sessions. It's not about being ready in the sense of having it all figured out. It's about being willing to look honestly at where you are and do something about it.
-
Every session has a purpose and a clear outcome — we don't just talk, we make progress. Sessions are 75 minutes, we’ll start by checking in on how you are, then we’ll move into what’s changed or anything you’ve learnt since last time before moving into what next. You'll leave with clarity, a next step and something concrete to work with before we meet again.

It's the framework at the heart of everything mortl does. Most people are already in one of four moments - pursuing a goal, needing to pause and recover, navigating a change of direction, or ready to let something go. The skill is knowing which one you're in and moving through it with intention rather than by default. The framework gives you a language and a system for doing exactly that.

The application isn't a barrier — it's the beginning of the work. It helps me understand where you are, what you're navigating and whether Intentional Growth Coaching is the right fit for you right now. It also means that if we do work together, we're not still warming up in session one. If I don't think I can help, or the timing isn't right, I'll always say so. There's no pressure and no obligation at any stage before you decide to proceed.

Honestly — you might not until we speak. And that's exactly what the discovery call is for. The application gives me a picture of where you are and what you're navigating. If it looks like a good fit, I'll invite you to a free, no-obligation 45-minute call — a chance to meet, ask questions and get a feel for whether this is the right relationship for you. There's no commitment at that stage. The decision to work together is always yours as much as mine.
